I SAW HURRICANE MILTON COMING BEFORE IT WAS TD14
3-minute read
(You would be right to be skeptical of that title, but it is true. Within hours of my session, Tropical Depression 14 formed. I wasn’t in a location where I could get my session notarized fast enough. I accept the skepticism because I will be correct again soon.)
Navigate to 5 October on my Prediction Calendar.
My session is also linked here.
Hurricane Milton was a minor learning experience. I have not explicitly targeted hurricanes because meteorologists can forecast them with some degree of accuracy.
Secondarily, hurricanes deliver wind, waves, tidal surges, and heavy rains, which inflict damage in predictable ways. Even if those forces have unpredictable results and deliver some unexpected downstream effect, it is still not a great surprise when assessed after the fact.
In short, science has hurricanes well-covered.
So, I have expressly excluded hurricanes as something I want to be alerted to via a psychic channel.
My Cue, however, is broad enough to cover untargeted events with line items that include the language of "not otherwise specified" and "Any event I will add to Cue after that event."
My premonition of the sinking of the 800-foot cargo ship El Faro in Hurricane Joaquin in 2015 only gave me pause for a bit because at the time of my viewing and when El Faro left port in Jacksonville, Florida, Joaquin was already a named Tropical Storm. The storm, soon to be a hurricane, was less the psychic Target than El Faro herself.
So what made Hurricane Milton appear on my radar even before it was "Tropical Depression 14"?
Its birthplace was not unusual.
Its strength was not unheard of.
Its trajectory was identified, and it duly followed.
Its damage and inflicted deaths were within expectations.
What was unusual was:
Rapic intensification.
Proximity in space and time to landfall, therefore, a shortage of evacuation time.
Because my physical location at the time of viewing was in the United States, an expressed Targeting weight is applied to events impacting the U.S.
One of my working assumptions is that this predictive faculty of ESP confers an evolutionary survival benefit and has a foundational warning envelope of some 96 hours. Therefore, this is enough time for a village, alerted by communal dreams, the shaman or the witch doctor, to move the tribe to safety.
Milton became a hurricane on October 6 and landed about 80 hours later on October 9. In the U.S., we are accustomed to having many days of warning before a hurricane strikes. Milton's birthplace was so close to the U.S., and the rate of intensification was so fast that Milton intruded past the boundaries of my Targeting Cue and into my session.
In this case, I'm still leaving out hurricanes because, as previously stated, meteorologists mostly have them covered. What my Cue lacks, and I will now remedy, is language that allows the Unconscious to deliver events NOT found in the Cue and will NOT be added to the Cue after the event. Thus, I formally allow the Unconscious to intrude into the Cue to me.
It's a fascinating history for me. For years, I've had my routine operational and training sessions overridden and intruded upon by occasional high-energy events from the future. I've seen it with Viewers I've been monitoring and/or training. I've seen a significant percentage of my Portland workshop trainees attempting to determine the winner of the then-upcoming football Super Bowl get intruded on by the forthcoming breakup upon atmospheric reentry of the space shuttle Columbia in 2003.
In 2004, I started directly targeting all possible events that could conceivably intrude, and I have been adjusting the cue as events dictate. Now, with Hurricane Milton, I'll add a line item in words to the effect of "Include any event not specifically targeted, and won't be added to the Cue, that for sound reasons is allowed into Cue coverage."
